		<description>Alan - I got the idea from a study that looked at various methods for shortening the recovery time after hard intervals/repeats, based on how fast heart rate fell. As I remember, they compared heart-rate drop rate with slow jogging, walking, and standing still and bending over. Bending over was fastest - though HR does come back up when you begin walking/jogging, it doesn&#039;t rise &quot;all the way&quot; to the previous rate (of course, time has elapsed). Anyway... I was playing around, seeing if I&#039;d actually &lt;feel&gt; better when my heart rate dropped, and if I could resume hard running quicker if I used the bend-over method. But I got interested in the different feeling when my HR went under 80%, and didn&#039;t give any more attention to recovery rate. - George&lt;/feel&gt;</description>
